My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there my name name is Mato and I am looking for my forever home! I am an active boy who would deeply benefit from having a big yard or field to run around in with my hoomans if they would like to join me! I would also benefit from things like bordem busters that will stimulate my mind when I am not busy outside. These include licky mats, kongs, or bones. I am good with other doggo friends, but I would like to meet my new furry roommate before going home. I would do best in a home without cats or kiddos. I know some basic commands like sit and shake! I am such a smart boy! If I sound like the pupper fur you, why not stop by and check me out today! He does come with beginners training classes for 6 weeks through Dogwood Hotel and Day Spa (valued at $120.00).
$135.00 Fee includes initial vaccines, worming, microchip with registration, and free vet health exam.

Sponsor A Pet Program - All of the adoption fee has been paid by Megan & John Litte ($135.00). Mato's adoption fee is now Waived. Thank you!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

While you can’t put a price tag on a lifetime of hugs, kisses, companionship and unconditional love, there are costs involved in caring for a healthy pet. When you adopt a pet from the Siouxland Humane Society, we’ve already performed procedures that are critical for maintaining his or her good health. These important benefits are provided to you in the price of the adoption which include the following:

• Initial Preventative Vaccinations
• Deworming
• Microchipping
• Free Veterinary Health Exam

Cats/Kittens
$50 – $70 - $150*

Dogs/Puppies
$95 – $135 – $165 - $195 – 300*

• Price varies based on breed, age, spay/neuter status and veterinary costs. Higher fees go to help other pets who wait months to find homes.
• Prices may be less than those listed above for Cats/Kittens/Dogs/Puppies if the fee has been reduced from donations to our Sponsor a Pet Program.
