Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful lady is about 98% minpin and has their graceful movement, including the hackney trot. Someone has loved Mandy and she came to us happy, housetrained, friendly with people and dogs. She shows some signs of aging, with a grade 2 or 3 heart murmur (doesn't seem to slow her down...) and cataracts on both eyes. She had her doctors appt Monday, Dec 18th to remove a large tumor on her belly. I am happy to say she came through with flying colors and already is happier, moving more freely and pain free. Mandy very sweet girl who is looking for somewhere quiet to enjoy her possibly short term life, that can be filled with fun and activity with a new human companion.

Home visits are being done virtually due to Covid.

Meet the Pet

The majority of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. Fosters will contact you to schedule a meeting with you and your dog.

Contracts will be signed through your AnimalsFirst account. Please have your login information prior to meeting the dog.

Pay Fee

Payment will be made through your AnimalsFirst account. Please have your login information prior to meeting the dog.

Take the Pet Home

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.

We are an all breed, 501(c)3 non-profit, dog rescue located in Windsor, CO dedicated to helping dogs in need! While our hearts lie with the giant breeds, our mission is to save any dog from death, illness, and misfortune regardless of their size, age, breed, or health status.
