My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found Berkley 11 years ago while on a walk. She was running around a fenced yard with several other puppies, not abandoned. We contacted the owner, who was giving the puppies away, as his dog got loose and ended up pregnant. Berkley was a ball of fun when she was a young puppy. She was (and still is) full of energy when she's outside with her ball. Chasing her ball is one of her favorite things to do. Berkley grew up alongside a Great Dane. Berkley is such a good dog, naps most of the day, and loves to run outside and play ball. She has a great disposition, but she is getting older (11 years old), and it’s become clear she needs to be in a home that doesn’t have small children. We want NOTHING more than to find her a good, safe home, where she can be loved and cared for the last few years of her life.

Aussie Mix / 11 years old / Inside Dog / Needs home with no small children, small dogs or cats / Up to date on vaccines / Spayed / Some arthritis in left hip.
