My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woofie Goldberg is a female, black Labrador Retriever mix puppy. Se is in her foster home working on housebreaking and crate training. She is young and currently does well with other dogs, cats and children. Woofie is a very young puppy and new adopters need to be aware that they will need to work with her for future success - we will be available to help give guidance and answer any questions or concerns as needed.
To meet Woofie please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html
Woofie's adoption fee is $450, which includes her deworming, spay at our vet (when of age), vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) and microchip with lifetime registration. If you are out of area and the pup is too young to be spayed at time of adoption, adoption fee will be less, and you will be contracted to complete vetting with proof being provided to the rescue.
*Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you!
***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.
Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So, be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates:

Go meet their pets

Since we are foster based and protect our fosters privacy, we usually meet at a public place such as our vets office. We arrange meet and greets on an individual basis.

More about this rescue

In 2014 a group of devoted volunteers worked diligently through the winter to rescue, rehab and rehome over 30 horses and several neglected dogs. After working together to successfully rehab and rehome them all, 6 of those volunteers decided to pull together resources and begin their own "volunteer based rescue" to aid in the rehabilitation and rehoming of animals of all kinds. We are a volunteer and foster based organization only, meaning we have no specific facility but work out of our homes to provide foster care, rehabilitation, evaluations, socialization and training for those animals in need.
