Sweet kitty dumped downtown seeks forever home! This 1-year-old tabby boy was left at the doors of a TV station on St. Patrick's Day. He wasn't fixed or chipped, but he has obviously been an indoor kitty -- super friendly, easy to handle and always uses the litter box. He is FIV+, a condition that weakens a cat's immune system, which left him vulnerable to a blood infection that caused him to nearly bleed out after his neuter. Thankfully, he's responded well to antibiotics and has had a smooth recovery! He is about a year old, playful, energetic and warms up to people quickly. FIV+ cats can live with FIV- cats as long as everyone is fixed. However, this kitty shouldn't live with other FIV+ or otherwise immunocompromised cats since he may remain a carrier for the blood infection. He'll also need to be an indoor-only kitty with monthly flea treatments and regular vet checkups to help keep his immune system strong. Come meet this sweet, funny kitty!
