My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was displaced from my home when my owner was found dead in her home by medics. It's been a trying time. I'm a bit stressed, still confused and really just want to go home. Since that's not a reality, I will settle for a fresh start in a new home with new hoomans. I miss my mom but I know she would want the best for me. I mostly need a space to decompress and just learn to be a cat again. It's been a rough road and I'm still a bit hesitant to let go. I'm a bit shy around other cats but should settle in well with housemates. Not dog tested. No small children. Would do best in a quiet home.
Come meet me at the ARC at 16 S Main St Mt Gilead.
Love,
Peebles

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a downloadable and an online adoption application. This is the first step in our adoption process.
Serious potenial adopters are welcomed, even if they have not completed an adoption application, to schedule a visit with one of our adoptable pets.
We strive to match the adoptable pet and adopter. Upon approval, the adoption fee and contract is signed.
All out-of-state adoptions will have additional requirements as part of the adoption process.
