My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a constant companion who loves to play and be around you? Yelly is the sweetest gal around and will never let you go a day without love and purrs. If you are looking for a cat that greets you like a dog would, you can expect to see that with young Yelly.

Yelly is about 11 months old and has spent 4 holidays with us- Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and now Easter. She’s been receiving treatment since she came to us in November but is finally all better and ready for a forever home! She is amazing with kids, other cats, and dogs and will be the perfect addition to any home. She is such a snuggly cat and will likely want to spend her nights curled up in bed with you. She can get quite playful and will need lots of fun things to keep her busy while you are away.

Yelly is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and she is microchipped! If you’d be interested in making Yelly a part of your family, her adoption fee is waived! You can find our adoption questionnaire at allgodscreaturesmp.org/adopt.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We have a short, one page, questionnaire that will be filled out prior to meeting the pet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

2.

Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. Since we do not have a brick and mortar facility, we will do this via phone before a meet and greet.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Go meet their pets

Currently, AGC is operating without a facility as a rescue group. If you are interested in meeting our adoptable pets, please contact us and we will coordinate with our foster families to set up a meet & greet.

More about this rescue

All God's Creatures (AGC) is a non-profit community service initiated by the First Presbyterian Church for the welfare of animals and people. We see an immense need for an animal shelter in Henry County. We also see the need to befriend socially isolated neighbors like the elderly, veterans, the incarcerated, and disabled. We believe our shelter and volunteer programming will give hope, purpose, and friendship as we connect paws and people. We are currently operating as a rescue while we raise funds to renovate our building and open our shelter doors.
