Introducing Flora, a Boxer mix puppy born around 1/31/24. Flora is the full puppy package! She is a very smart, outgoing and happy little girl. She believes everyone is her best friend and is ready to play. She loves to play chase, tug-of-war, wrestle, and chase the sticks (of course she wants to eat them too). She has started to play fetch which seems to be her favorite game. Her foster mom said she learned “sit” in about two minutes and will do it on command without treats. She really wants to please and would love to continue to learn obedience training. When Flora is done playing, she is a world class snuggler. She will nuzzle under your neck and take a nap. She also loves to watch movies with her foster family. Because of her age, she needs a family who is home often. She is not a candidate for condo or townhouse living. Flora is active and a structurally fenced in back yard is ideal, but if her family are active walkers and adventure seekers, she would love that too. Flora currently weighs 8 pounds and should weigh around 45 when fully grown. She is current on her vaccines and her adoption fee includes her future spay and microchip. To apply for this awesome little girl, please email adopt@carolinapaws.com.

More about this rescue
Carolina P.A.W.S. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of a network of compassionate Carolinians, all of whom are volunteers. We are devoted to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs throughout the greater Charlotte area find loving homes. CPAWS does not have a facility and relies entirely on volunteer foster parents to care for an animal until we are able to find a pet their forever home. Our founding members have been collectively involved in animal rescue for over 20 years.
Carolina P.A.W.S. volunteers can be found "in the trenches," rescuing animals at high risk- those starving on the streets, languishing in shelters, and suffering in abusive situations. Each animal has a different past but our promise to them all is the same…a second chance. We provide them with medical attention, rehabilitate them physically and emotionally, and care for them in foster homes until they can be placed in loving permanent homes.
Along the way, we prepare them to become wonderful companions by taking the time to socialize them and patiently teaching them to trust. We also spay/neuter each one, provide all inoculations, and ensure that they are in perfect health before being made available for adoption.
