Hi there, I'm Essence! I'm a puppy with a personality as big as my heart. I'm a little ball of energy, always ready to play and explore. My curiosity knows no bounds, I'm always sniffing out new adventures. I'm also quite the comedian, always ready with a goofy antic to make you laugh. But when playtime's over, I'm all about the cuddles. I'm a brave little girl, but I'm also gentle and loyal. I'm smart too, I love learning new tricks, especially when treats are involved! I'm independent but friendly, always ready to make new friends. So, why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and a whole lot of fun. I'll be your loyal companion, your confidant, and your best friend. All I need is a chance to show you just how special I am.
Our love bug's adoption fee is $450 which includes being fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and fecal exam.

All dogs require a $100 cash training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.
As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.
When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
