Sadie is a 1.5 year old 65-pound Shepherd Mix who was rescued from a shelter in CA (about to be euthanized). She is intelligent, playful, and high energy. We do not know her history, so cannot confirm whether she is good with other dogs or cats (although from what we have seen, she is friendly to the neighbor’s dog through the fence!). She would do best in a home with a fenced yard and no children, as is still very young and needs training. She is very friendly and has shown no aggressive behaviors (loves to give kisses & loves belly rubs!). An ideal foster or parent for Sadie is someone who has experience training dogs, and is not intimidated by her size/energy. She listens to commands and in 2 days has learned to sit (now we are working on heel!).
Other things to note: she arrived 2 days ago, has recently been spayed, and is up to date on all vaccinations and de-worming.
