My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ida 💕

* Toward People: Has a sincere affection for people of all ages and genders! Wags her tail all day for everyone, much like a helicopter. Greets everyone individually, including strangers, as if she were at a fan event. Is a polite puppy who greets children carefully!
* Toward Dogs: Says hello to new dogs first when out for a walk and also plays well with dog friends who come up to her. Is a cute puppy that spends the entire day following the dogs she likes, wagging her tail.
* Toward Cats: Likes and plays well with cats!
* Separation Anxiety: Could first experience separation anxiety when she is in a new environment. However, exhibits no anxiety once she gets used to it!
* Potty Training: Is getting potty training and works great on pads, with a 90% success rate! Wakes up and goes to the living room to use a pad even when she is asleep. Woofs to request that the pad be replaced if it is not clean.
* Walks: Just started to walk. Enjoys taking walks and has no resistance to wearing a leash. Does not pull on the leash, and waits close to the door when she notices a caretaker carrying a harness.
* Hygiene: Receives toenail trims, baths, and ear cleanings well. Despite being sensitive to the sound of vacuum cleaners or hair dryers, she sits patiently while getting her fur dried.
* Car sickness: None.

💌Special Features💌
* Training may be required because, at her young age, she may exhibit separation anxiety, biting, whining, fussing, howling, and barking in addition to potty training.
* It is difficult to predict the amount of shedding or adult size since her father is unknown.
* Has a lot of curiosity and is the type to just do rather than think, so you must keep an eye on her.
* Is quick to pick up the skills of "sit, hand, wait, and high five"!
* Loves eating so much and uses a slow feeder. Is scared of toys that make certain noises but loves tug-of-war games.
❗We are keeping an eye on her and restricting her treats because she seems to be experiencing a little reaction in her left ear, which could be due to a food allergy.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
