Located in Bowie MD Meet Bleu, a sweet and playful 1-year-old pittie in desperate need of a new home! Sadly, his owner had to move in with a family member whose senior Maltese is causing Bleu distress with constant barking. Bleu is a bundle of energy who adores playtime, especially with kids. He's a gentle soul who craves tummy rubs and cuddles, and his only crime is being strong! He just needs space to be his joyful self. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Bleu, providing him with the love, compassion, and freedom he deserves, please reach out immediately. Additional adoption info

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. We suggest a $200 donation that helps offset some of our expenses such as feeding, boarding, training, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and miscellaneous veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.
