My name is Thunder!

Thunder arrived at the shelter on March 28, 2024 - Thunder is a sweet, beautiful cat that enjoys pets and snuggles. She is great with other cats when properly introduced. Thunder was surrendered to the shelter when she redirected on the owner when she was triggered by a situation that occurred in her home. The owner had not seen this behaviour in all of her 5 years of ownership and we do know that a quarantine period and fixing a cat will help them to get over a redirection incident. Thunder was spayed shortly after the redirection but required more time to diffuse that the owner would give. When you see Thunder at the shelter, she is a loving and friendly girl who if happy and content. Thunder needs a second chance with someone who has a quiet house and no small children.
