Hello, my name is Gus, and about 5 minutes after we meet you *will* have a crush on me, promise! I love people, I'm cute as a button, and have a fun silly side you'll love. A bit on the short side and at a little over 30 lbs, I'm also of a most practical size and will fit perfectly in your lap. And into your lap I will climb, often and quickly, as I'm a very affectionate pup.
I've lived with other dogs and was a little pushy with them when playing but we got along! (I'm still young so learning to socialize). I can be scared when young kids with high energy play around me. I don't do well in a crate (although crate training could help this) but I can be left alone uncrated without a problem.
My foster parent says I'm the goofiest, cuddliest boy who truly matches the energy of his person-if they're having a tired day, I'll just cuddle up and be lazy, but if they're energetic I'll match it and be so playful. I'm very motivated to learn new things with treats as a reward, and have learned two new tricks: sit and stay. I love to sleep on couches and beds and I'm a Velcro pup who follows my person all over the house.
