My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mamma Cass!

- She is a sweet girl that is dog friendly but does prefer to not share so would love a home without other dogs so she can keep all the toys to herself or in a home where the other dog doesn't care as much and someone who will utilize a crate. She does great on pack walks and out and about with other dogs so its only in the home.
- She is an active girl that likes to go for runs and hikes and does great with bike rides! When you are just hanging around the house, she loves to lounge around and nap.
-She is food motivated and loves to learn new things! Doing well with her loose leash walking, place work and working on recall
-She is great for handling; nail trims, looking in her mouth, body handling, she is sweet and patient for all of it.
-She had puppies (one of her puppies also came into our rescue and was adopted) They were found on the side of the road in Texas
- She is a medium sized Husky that will need a medium level active home and guessed to be 2 years old

Check out her foster mom’s instagram to see more videos on her. Shes a dog trainer and Cass is doing great with her

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
