Meet Adele, she needs an emergency foster closer to Jackson NJ.
We are happy we were able to pull this pretty girl from the Elizabeth Shelter. She has an AMAZING temperament and is people, kid, and dog friendly. She is petite at only 48 lbs and just a year old.
Unfortunately, after settling in her new foster home she had 2 focal seizures on the first day! 💔💔 She seemed to recover quickly and her vitals were normal. We did a full bloodwork which was normal at the emergency vet hospital. On Wednesday, we were lucky to get into a neurologist at RBVH and started on medication. Thankfully she has been fine with that since but has developed separation anxiety which is quite common with shelter dogs.
We are looking for a foster closer to our area who can help with her separation anxiety. We will supply the training plan with plenty of support and resources. Someone who isn’t gone long hours of the day and has plenty of patience to help her learn to be independent. We have been successful with this in the past.
If you can help, please apply at pittiesandpals.com! We provide everything needed.

More about this rescue
Pitties and Pals Rescue, Inc. is (a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit). Our mission is to rescue dogs and educate the public. Although our main focus is the bully breed, we are committed to all dogs in need. We believe RESCUE involves a multitude of approaches that includes liberating dogs from at risk situations, whether in a shelter or with an owner in need of assistance. While adoption is always the ultimate goal, we believe transitioning into foster care allows for socialization and training that are key components to a successful placement.
Pitties and Pals volunteers are also committed to changing the negative public perception of the Bully Breed. As such, we welcome opportunities to heighten awareness and enhance education in a public forum through our personal stories and positive experiences.
