Hi, my name is Ezra! I’m just about the sweetest, cuddliest boy you’ll ever meet. I'm about a year old, so I've got a perfect combination of fun puppy energy and well-behaved maturity. I've mastered potty training and I quickly learned the rules and routine of my new foster home. In fact, I don't even need to be kenneled when left alone anymore (though I don't mind it as long as I have another dog buddy in the crate with me). At night, I love sleeping in bed with my foster parents and am a great sleeper. I am learning how to go for walks and I am loving it. I came to the rescue with a best friend who has been adopted, and I'm feeling pretty lonely now. So, I'm looking for a home with another playful small dog to cuddle and play with. My foster mom says I'm so laid back - I like all people, like to be brushed, let her touch my face, toes, etc... Nothing really bugs me (except big scary dogs). If you're looking for a super smart, well-behaved, laidback dog to snuggle with, I am definitely your guy!

**Note on breed and age determination:
Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
- Wellness check
- Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
- Age appropriate vaccines - rabies as required by law and distemper combo or proof of positive titer test
- Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
- Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
- Microchip ​
~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
