My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

03/29/2024 17:53 He`s a very sweet boy but extremely fearful, especially of leashes. Once on him, he wil cry out and gator roll. lunged and tried to bite to get it off. When not leashed, he will allow all touch and pets.
04/27/24 11:09 Dog is very nice but is hesitant of strangers. He can be reactive when people walk by his kennel, but once he knows you, he does not react to you through the kennel. With me and a few other techs, he greets you at the kennel door seeking attention.
He also did fairly well walking on a leash when moving him to a different kennel.
04/27/24 11:30 Was very reactive to people in the kennels that he did not know. Lunging at them, snapping and barking. Once confronted with someone he does know, he immediately stops acting up.
04/30/24 12:50 Took out to the play yard for pictures. It was a little difficult to put the leash on him but we were able to and he walked well with us to the play yard. Once in the yard, I took off the leash and let him run and play. He came to me several times wanting attention. Not interested in toys but does like his treats. He has become reactive to strangers walking by his kennel. Once he knows you, he`s very sweet and non-reactive. Needs time and training but nice boy.

An Animal Care Technician will review this form and evaluate the adoption from both yours and the pet’s perspective. If the pet's date of availability has past, the person with an approved application will be able to adopt. If there is more than one person interested and approved on the date and time the pet becomes available, a drawing will take place in order to be fair to all parties involved.
