The most perfect old gal in the whole wide world is ready to find her forever retirement home ?

Dolores is a sweet senior girl who turned up at a local colony - upon being trapped it was discovered she was microchipped back in 2010 so at minimum we know she’s 13 but could be anywhere from 13-15. The streets are no place for a senior girl and her “owners” didn’t reply to any attempts to contact them?

Based on her overall body condition it’s safe to assume she spent quite a few years out there. She was only 6lbs at intake ? but already gained a pound since being with the rescue and her hair is growing in thicker and fluffier already!

Don’t let her age fool you - this girl still loves to play and is SUPER snuggly! She has lots of sass too! Her favorite activity is getting a break from the foster room and getting to snuggle up in her foster parent’s bed for a little bit.

She loves to eat and isn’t picky but her favorite snacks the senior lickable treats!

She adores people but is not a fan of her foster kitty roommates. She would love to be your one and only but could probably co exist with another senior cat who doesn’t pay her any mind or invade her space.
We are unsure how she is with dogs as she hasn’t interacted with any in foster care.

And despite her age she has a really good bill of health! She had blood and urine labs done at our and both came back normal ?? the only things our vet noted were that she has a mild grade heart murmur and her teeth are a tad worn down however our vet says they are not at the point of needing any work done and she should be just fine as is!

She is an amazing cat who deserves the best retirement home for her golden years ?

Our adoption process involves a thorough screening of every applicant to ensure our cats are going to the best homes possible. Our screening process includes, but isn’t limited to, background checks, property checks & veterinary reference checks. Once all has checked out we will contact you to schedule a phone interview.
