My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Arnie, a dog with a gentle soul. He`s a shy, independent companion who cherishes quiet moments. Arnie may take some time to open up and adjust to a new environment, but with patience and understanding, he`ll show you his charming personality. He enjoys peaceful walks and a good snooze in a comfy spot. Despite his reserved nature, Arnie has a lot to offer. He`s a loyal friend who`ll be there for you, asking for nothing more than your love in return. If you`re looking for a companion who respects your space while providing unconditional love, Arnie is your perfect match. This pet is currently in FOSTER CARE. More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
