My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites.

Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following:

Is someone home to raise and train a puppy?
Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy?
Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment?  We are accepting applications for baby Cosmo and he'll be ready next week!  He was a surprise baby, a single baby, from a Mama we took in from a shelter.  He was born 2 days after arriving and on Valentines Day!
He's an outgoing, confident little guy and so cute!  He looks white with black patches but has a tiny bit of brown on his cheeks so he's a tri color.  Mama is a full or mostly Min Pin so we have no clue what Cosmo's daddy was (since he looks nothing like his mama!)

Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines.

Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.

Vaccine Protocol is as follows:
DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines.
Rabies 6 months of age

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
