My name is Chiquis!

Chiquis is a wonderful dog and I wish we could keep her, but I am offering her up for adoption because she deserves better attention than what she has been getting in the last few months. Because she is a senior, she spends most of her time sleeping. She needs to be taken out for bathroom walks at least four times per day, as she is not able to control her sphincters as well as she used to when she was younger.

She has arthritis that she developed a long time ago after a surgery to reconstruct her back legs because a bigger dog attacked her while visiting friends. She walks just fine and sometimes even runs, but due to her age, she is going blind and also deaf.

She needs a lot of tenderness which she gets from my children, including my toddler. They love her tremendously and tend to her whenever they can, but now they are rarely home and I am to max capacity. Chiquis needs owners who can commit more time to her during her senior years.
