My name is Val!

Val is about 3 years old. I adopted her from The Humane Society in New Mexico. She has the most adorable meow. It's not what you would expect to come out of such a sweet little cat. She does not like to be picked up or held but she will sit in your lap if you are watching a movie and will lay ontop you while you sleep. She loves to sit in a window and watch the world go by. She seeks out the sun for a place to nap and also loves the warmth from the fireplace. She will entertain herself if you're too busy to play as she loves to chase her tail. She likes to follow me from room to room as she prefers to not be alone.

She does get along with other cats but it takes a while. Most of her life she's lived with another cat but she's been able to rule the house on her own since February when her sister moved out with my son.

I'll be traveling most of June and July and preparing to move in August. I feel it is too much to put her through to move across the country again.
