My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cowboy is a tiny little guy who is a bit of a daredevil.  He loves to snuggle up in warm beds and under his favorite blanket.  He would love a place of his own for his retirement. He is a bit of a flight risk and runs fast for his size/age.
Energy Level?  Low
House trained?  In process.  Currently uses potty pads
Describe how they are on a leash. He prefers a push in the stroller or to be carried
Describe how they are with other dogs.  He is great around all dogs big and small
Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  He ignores the cat and doesn't bark or chase him
Commands they know?  Cowboys said he's too mature for commands
What are their favorite things?  Sleeping under his blanket
What do they need to work on?  He gets very nervous when you pick him up. You have to go slow and be patient
How are they when left alone?    How long have they been left alone?  He is fine left alone.  He just sleeps in an xpen with a potty pad.
Where do they sleep?  He sleeps in an xpen with a potty pad.  or a crate
What is their ideal home?  He would be fine in an active or calm home.  He just needs someone to go slow with him in the beginning to build trust.  He is a quiet dog and is easy to take anywhere.  He is a bit of a flight risk and runs fast for his size/age.  He is barely 5 pounds.

More about this rescue

Every Pet's Dream is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Foster-based rescue dedicated to saving animals that otherwise would have been euthanized. We provide them a fresh start and an opportunity to find their forever home. In some cases we will take in owner surrenders.

If animals could share their hopes and dreams with us, what would they say? They would say that they want to give love and be loved and cared for their entire lives.

Every Pet's Dream believes that dogs feel safe with rules and boundaries and thrive with training, exercise and love. Cats also feel safe with boundaries, a great place to hide and plenty of love as well.
