Chiko is a very friendly boy who would love a family of his own. He may be on the smaller size, at about 50lbs, but he is packed full of energy! For this reason, Chiko would do best in a home with older children. With all his spunk and energy, he would love a home with a big yard and someone to play fetch or tug of war with. Chiko does know how to sit and would pick up on regular training quickly. He is very smart and will do anything for some love and attention. Chiko's estimated DOB is 6/8/19.
All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. If they cannot remain with their adopter, they must be returned to the Haven.

We are a no-kill sanctuary for stray and abandoned dogs and cats, and for those left homeless by the death of their guardian. We provide an environment as homelike as possible with lots of loving care to our furry residents. It may take days or years, but we will always keep trying for all of the animals in our care. Volunteers and donations are always needed and welcome!
