My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie and her sister, Cooper, showed up at our house in June 2023 and were skin and bones. We believe they were about 3 months old when they first showed up. Being the pet lovers we are, we couldn’t let them starve so we started to feed them. We are having to unexpectedly move a few hours away and are having to rent. We are only allowed 3 animals, and are unable to take Dixie and Cooper with us.

Dixie is the sweetest dog ever, and I would 100% take her with us if we could. She has been a 100% outside dog. I believe she would be happy as an outside dog with plenty of space to roam and run, as long as she has a nice warm doghouse for shelter. I imagine she would also love being and inside dog as well. She is great with other dogs, and is very sweet with our 4 year old.
