My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Put Short Bio here:

Kid (aka Kiki) just wants to be where the humans are. She is as cuddly as they come and will fall asleep on your lap immediately. This easygoing pup is comfortable on trains, in cars and is down for any adventure her humans are taking her on. She sleeps through the night and then some! She is a well behaved, smart, sweet girl who would fit in well in a home where she will get plenty of attention.
Kid is a beautiful dog, she has brown/black coat like a chocolate lab, and an adorable little tail that curls. Our guess is she is a lab/boxer mix with maybe some more mixed in. Her projected weight is 45-55 lbs.
My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats) - loves cats and kids, shy around dogs but she will warm up. She prefers easygoing dogs.
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) Pee Pad Trained, low shed
3 Keywords for your pup: Sweet, smart, cuddly
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 5 She is timid outside, but has been doing wonderfully with leash training, every day she gets more confident.
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet

Walking Manners: very good but needs more training
Appetite: loves food! Very food motivated and easily trainable
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above) Good with baths, loves and wants to be around humans but she has been doing great with being left alone occasionally. We give her a kong to keep her busy which usually tires her out. Very go with the flow when it comes to cars, trains etc. she will nap anywhere
Favorite Things: she has her special corner of the couch, loves sleeping there. She also does the cutest thing when she falls asleep she will nuzzle her head or puts it flat on the ground. Its incredibly endearing
Commands/tricks: "no", "stay", "sit", "paw", "down" and she knows her name

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
