Meet Benji. Benji and two scruffy friends were found running around in a rural area. Since no one ever came forward to claim him, Benji is looking for a new home. This boy is a big mush with people. Benji gets along well with other dogs and is anxious to please his humans. He will sleep in his crate at night and keeps it clean. Benji does not bark much. His is working on proper leash walking. Benji will chase a cat but stops when corrected. Benji loves to play and enjoys car rides. Benji is about a year old and 35 pounds. Please help Benji find his forever home.
Update: Benji tested positive for two common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. He is currently on a course of oral antibiotic which can be sent home with his new family for completion. Benji is doing great and currently available for adoption.
We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Benji's adoption fee is $400. This also covers all age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, vetting & microchipping.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
