My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bitsy is a 4-pound, 4-month old, long-haired Chihuahua puppy who loves to be held and petted and told what a pretty girl she is.


Bitsy lives in a foster home with 6 cats and 5 dogs (large and small), and she gets along with EVERYBODY. She’s such an eager-to-please tiny girl who is easily made happy. She’s very submissive, so she won’t have any problems with other dogs.

Of course she likes to do all the puppy things: wrassle with her foster brothers and sisters, play with squeaky toys, run around the yard. She’s also very fond of fetch; throw the ball, inside or out, and she’ll return it until your arm wears out.. But when she’s done playing, pick her up and she turns into melty puppy—just settling herself into your arms for a nice butt scritch or tummy rub. She’s a very affectionate pup.

Bitsy is crate trained but her housetraining is still in progress. She is not a destructive puppy—other than what you’d expect for normal puppy mischief (warn the toilet paper rolls to watch out for her!) She isn’t particularly barky, and she rides well in a car. Bitsy would do equally well in a house or apartment, but no small children.

Bitsy’s adoption fee is $275 and includes spay, all puppy shots & microchip. She is heartworm-negative and on heartworm medication.
