This beautiful girl is Pippa! She was rescued after she was picked up as a stray by the police, and sadly her owners never came looking for her.

Pippa is the sweetest girl who everyone she meets. She loves kids, but has a tendency to jump because she gets so excited to see them, so really small kids may get knocked down. Pippa also likes to play with other dogs. She is currently in foster care with another dog who is her best bud, so she’d really like to go to a forever home with another playful dog friend! Pippa is also crate trained and housebroken.

She loves running around and playing with her toys. After she’s spent some time playing her favorite thing to do is settle in for some belly rubs and treats, and then curling up next to you to get some loving.

If you are interested in any of our beautiful pets you will be required to fill out an application. We do check references from your application, both personal and veterinary records. We also do require home visits. We want to do everything we can to ensure our pets are going to a safe home....a forever home.

FAHPR is a 501(c)3 non-profit operating in the Chicago area in Illinois and Owensboro, Hartford and Beaver Dam areas of Western Kentucky. Our mission is to help animals that have no voices but ours to speak for them. We operate solely by volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers, transporters and fosters.
