It's Snow White's turn! Snow is the beautiful mama of the Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs litter that we rescued on New Year's Eve. All of the puppies (except poor little Grumpy) have been adopted and mama is now spayed and ready to find her forever family.
Snow is a sweet, playful girl who would love nothing more than to have someone throw a toy for her all day and then cuddle with you when you get tired :-) She loves people and seems fine with other dogs. We do not know how she would be with children but she has a nice temperament and we could find that out at a meet and greet :-) She may love them -- we just haven't been able to test that. She's not crazy about cats from what we can tell. But we know she'd love you and your friends!
Snow's coat coloring made us believe that she is mostly Catahoula Leopard Dog, but one of her puppies has had his DNA analyzed and there is no Catahoula in him at all. There is a LOT of several different Hound breeds, some Australian Cattle Dog and some Shar Pei. We're thinking the Cattle Dog and Shar Pei and some Hound must be Snow's make-up -- but we cannot figure out where her beautiful and unique coat comes from. She is estimated to be 3 years old and she weighs 43 lbs.

We are pretty much a two-person operation, but usually our application review process is fast -- often the same day as received.

With application pre-approved, adopters are able to take a pup home from their meet and greet if they are ready and the pup is old enough

We have an application process and we will check vet and personal references (usually takes only 1-2 days). There is also an adoption contract and fee which helps to cover vet and other expenses. The contract is designed to ensure the dog is cared for in all ways and if you are ever unable to care for the dog, re-homing is approved by us. If the dog is too young to be spayed/neutered before going home, you will also sign a document committing to having the dog fixed and the rescue will follow up.
