What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I have a 14 yo Chihuahua/Corgi mix named Roxy. She is a senior, AND vibrant and healthy. I am getting a divorce and my financial, home and future situation is uncertain. She deserves a good home to live out the rest of her time on this earth. She has been loved well by me. Roxy is independent and VERY LOW maintenance. She is trained to go outside, loves treats, would love a human who sits on a couch (she loves a warm body to cuddle), and she is loving. She can be vocal, but she is just growl and all love. She is very smart and funny. I rescued her in 2014 when my best friend's father died. We took her in, and she has been a wonderful family member. It is hard to believe she is 14! She still looks and acts very young. She takes no medications. She is about 18 lbs (she is a little long meatloaf with stout legs). She is still playful in some ways and sometimes communicates with me. If she could, she would sleep with me in bed, but she snores. LOL. She is a curvy girl with spunk.
