My name is Weezy!

Wheezy came into rescue as a tiny kitten. Right away her foster knew something was up by her breathing. She went to the vet and they diagnosed her with megaesophagus. Due to her age there was hope that she would grow out of it. She ate canned food only and with a raised bowl for the next several months of her life and recently at her last vet appt we were told that it has resolved and she could eat normally! We did a double check with a specialist who confirmed she was in good shape at this time. She did recommend if the flutter breathing noise came back that she have a few additional tests if needed. Wheezy has had canned food so long she is kind of a diva and prefers it. She will eat dry, but ideally get forever home would also make sure she got canned food snacks. She's a good snuggler and very playful. She has been raised around smaller dogs and other cats.
