My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie's personality shines at home. He is an absolute goof ball and makes us laugh all the time with his antics. He is a stick-chomper, tug-lover, squeaker afficionado, and destroyer of all but the most durable toys. After a morning walk, he settles on his (Serta) bed or gazes out the window while his people are off at work. Anytime you come home, he is there at the door toy in mouth and tail wagging furiously. He loves butt scratches and wont hesitate to put his rear end in your face. He is house trained, crate trained (begrudgingly), and knows all of the standard commands.
In full transparency, Ollie does have a bite history: single punctures or bruises. He has generalized anxiety and fear-based reactivity, but his triggers are mostly predictable and manageable. I dearly love him, but I am in medical school and do not have the means. He'd thrive in a single-dog home with 1-2 owners willing to take him for long walks, continue his medication and work with him through triggers.
