Murphy, a handsome black poodle, is searching for his forever home! This energetic pup loves playing fetch with his favorite tennis ball although releasing isn’t his strong suit yet and enjoys settling down for cuddle sessions by burying his face into your lap. He's a quick learner who already knows "Sit" and is eager to please. Murphy needs work walking on leash and would benefit from obedience training to channel his energy into positive behaviors.
Good with kids and curious about cats, Murphy is a loving dog who will thrive in an active home. He has enjoyed playtime with his 5-year-old human friend and shows interest in his feline foster mates, though they've made it clear who's boss! With some training and an active lifestyle, Murphy's intelligence, enthusiasm, and love for cuddles will make him a perfect addition to your family.
Murphy is estimated to be 1 year 6 months old and 47 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
