My name is Amber!

My name is Amber and I'm desperately searching for a new home. I was originally found in a box at the end of a driveway. I had suffered some abuse to where only 4" of my tail was left. I'm a bit of a loaner and just need a place to land that doesn't have too many expectations of me. Just allow me to relax and settle in and even though I love affection it is for sure on my terms. A quiet environment would be best for me. Maybe a senior that is just looking for some company would work just perfectly for me. I'm not a dog kind of gal so a home with canines isn't my speed. I have been in rescue for a long time and no one has shown any interest in me. I am estimated to be about 14 years old. I know, your reaction will be one of sadness and you'll think oh wow, she probably won't find a home but I'm hopeful there is some wonderful hooman out there that will give me a chance at spending my remaining years in a home setting where I can just be me.
My adoption fee is $50 and I am spayed and fully vetted. Perhaps you might give me a chance.
An application and home visit is required for placement approval. I am available for meet and greets in my foster home in the Marengo, OH area.
