Bandit is in search of a new home after the loss of his owner. This beautiful 9 year old red merle male has striking eyes - one is blue and the other is split blue and brown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and has been heart worm tested.
Bandit has been a beloved pet his entire life and he is looking for a home where he will be a treasured family member again. He enjoys going on walks and is a great leash walker. He also likes car rides. He has been a frequent visitor to the dog park and has been well socialized with other dogs so a doggy companion may be a possibility for him. He has not been around cats so will not be placed in a home with them. He has also not been raised in a home with children so a quieter home would be best for him. He has been described as a sweet, loving, obedient and loyal dog. HIs family is requesting a home with a physical fence.
Bandit is a typical Aussie that takes a few moments to warm up to people, an Aussie or herding dog experienced home is preferred. Bandit would be a wonderful companion for someone looking to spend their time with a mature companion. Bandit is currently living on Long Island, NY.
