We'd like to introduce Chilly!

Chilly is looking for a home to call her own. She would love a family that is familiar with Chinchillas and knows all about how to care for them.

Chilly loves to run on her wheel, chew on her wood sticks and of course munch on her dandelion treats. Chilly does tolerate being held, however, like most Chinchillas it isn't her favorite thing. She would much rather be exploring or taking a nice nap in her hideout.

Chilly is 6 years old. Her adoption fee is $100, plus tax. The adoption fee does not include an enclosure.

Here are some fun facts about Chinchillas:

They can live 15+ years if well cared for, so it is as much commitment as a cat or dog.

Chinchillas need regular dust baths (2-3 times per week) to help maintain their oily skin and soft fur. They should never be bathed with water.

Chinchillas are very active and agile and need lots of exercise space. Having plenty of horizontal and vertical space to run and jump is a must!
