My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Glenn and I am available for adoption.

I was brought in by a good samaritan on April 2, 2024.

I weigh 48.0 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog.

I am a very treat motivated dog who will happily `sit` for treats and it seems like I know `lay down` as well.

My caregivers think I am mixed between a cattle dog and a husky which means I am FULL of energy! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.

I am easily excitable, but I actually mellow out when I`m outside, on walks, or when I am out at Playgroups with my Playgroup Pals! My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large male dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. Ask the staff today about my interactions with other dogs at the shelter in our Playgroups.

I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

***April showers bring May flowers - and a lot of dogs at Regional Animal Services! Through May 31, you can `Pick Your Price` when you adopt an adult dog (six months or older). Adoption fees are $25, $50, $75, or $100, plus a pet license fee if applicable.***
