Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, my name is May, and just a few months ago I was on the euthanasia list at a San Antonio Animal Shelter, along with my 3 puppies. I had basically given up hope since nobody wanted to adopt me and time was running out when, bless my lucky stars, 4 Little Paws Rescue saved us. It was a miracle. Next thing I knew we were moving into a foster home so I could finish nursing my puppies and be well taken care of in the process. Today, my job is finished, the puppies have all been adopted, and I am all set to find my future and just be a carefree dog again. I’m only 3 years old, I weigh 33 lbs and I’m a Boxer/Terrier mix, incredibly sweet and well deserving of a life fully lived.
My foster mom says I am a girl who enjoys life and seizes every moment to either play or nap. That may sound funny, but I am in love with napping on something cushy like a couch, a cozy chair, my fluffy dog bed that I sleep on each night, or being snuggled up beside you when I’m all tuckered out. I love playtime, chew toys, walks, and car rides, exploring my surroundings, and new places when we travel. I have a medium energy level and a go-with-the-flow attitude. I can be shy when meeting strangers, I’m friendly with children, and I get along well with other dogs. Sometimes I like to play on my own, but I also like having people around. I love bully sticks, milk bones, and squeaky toys and will sometimes cleverly take the squeaker out. I’m affectionate and share kisses and I’m also good with having my own space. I am housebroken, smart, and easily trainable with doggy treats. I will be moving to the Northeast to find a forever home and I’m already dreaming about some fun new adventures and wondering who will adopt me.
