A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step and for some those steps are filled with adventure wrapped up in love. Meeting new people and setting hearts a flutter comes naturally to this litter of 5-month-old labrador retriever mixes. Adventure is around the corner for each of them and their forever families. One step leads to a another putting this litter on the right track to a loving home. Davis is following his heart, and he knows that life will be living his dream. Puppy antics and puppy play come with the territory of raising a young pup and with that growth is inevitable. David currently weighs around 29 pounds but is expected to be of a large size weighing over 60 pounds when full grown.
You can bet your bottom dollar that David knows how to have fun as he puts the friend into friendly. He can mingle, play and hang out with other dogs, children and adults. Since coming into rescue, David has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a cat and therefore it is unknown if he would be welcoming of a feline companion. We do know that David is a great pup with plenty of spunk to entertain himself and others. He has a medium energy level that would do very well in a fairly active family. Bring out the fun and add David to the mix because outdoors or inside he will be the highlight of your days and nights.
House, crate and leash training are important to learn as well as master. David is taking the steps to mastering each of them. He knows it is a work in progress, but he also knows that his family will step up to the task of assisting him through the process.
As with all puppies, David is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion.
