ABOUT SASHA. SASHA aims to please, and wants to win your heart and join your home. She is intelligent, energetic, and loving. If you are looking for a true companion, she is your girl. Sasha enjoys following her human around the home, chewing on bones and playing with soft stuffed toys. Long walks and playing chase in the yard are some of her favorite pasttimes. Sasha requires both mental and physical stimulation every day, so let the games begin! If you are a couch potato, you need not apply. Sasha is eager to please, highly trainable, and very typical for her breed. Experience with the breed is helpful, or an experienced handler would be best for her. While she gets along with other dogs, she seems happiest being the only dog in the home. SASHA is looking for an active family with plenty of treats, lots of exercise, an abundance of cuddles, and a nice fenced yard to run and play games. SASHA is a beautiful, and a happy girl. She is needy for your attention, loyal, and a busy pup. She likes to play with toys, take rides in the car, and join you on your outings. She is good with children, and might be the perfect addition to your home! She knows basic commands, is good on a leash, and to know her is to love her. Additional training may be needed. When you meet her you will see, she is irresistible. She hasn’t met a stranger! Sasha would like a home where you are home most of the time. If you work 8 and 12 hour shifts, she is probably not the girl for you.
SASHA HISTORY: How did she arrive at VIP Rescue you ask? Her owner moved overseas and was unable to bring SASHA and ZEN with him. We have determined that Sasha and Zen would likely do best in different homes. Both Sasha and Zen have been well taken care of in their past and present with no issues. SASHA MEDICAL: SASHA is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccines, microchipped and in perfect health. Please keep in mind these beautiful creatures require frequent brushing, regular ear cleaning, and monthly grooming. Grooming can run from $125- $200 per dog. Sasha says: ”Whatcha’ think? Whatcha’ waiting for? My bags are packed, and I am ready to roll!!” Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, live in a single-family home with a fence, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. No exceptions. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, and be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. Preference will be given to those familiar with the breed. Home visits are a prerequisite prior to adopting. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
