Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It is hard to imagine anything cuter than Ashe with his zestful enthusiasm, youthful playfulness, and endless love of life! Ashe is 2.5 years old and 38 lbs full of utter adorableness and happiness! He may appear calm and quiet in his kennel but get this little man out to the play yard and he becomes a world champion zoomie aficionado! He is very energetic and has the cutest hop as he darts around. He will run circles around you in play and make frequent pit stops to get petting and be close to you before he takes off on another zoomie adventure. He loves ear massages and belly rubs but is a particular fan of bootie scratches! Ashe is definitely a fun guy and will make you laugh! He is quite a joy to be around, fun loving, and affectionate.

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
