My name is Walker!

Our adult son adopted Walker from a shelter 3 years ago. He is 6.5 years old. Last year our son accepted a job where he could not have any pets. We have been caring for him since our son moved away.
Our grandchildren visit us frequently and we have been boarding Walker when they visit. He gets anxious/nervous around the younger grandchildren and is less anxious with the older ones.

He is healthy and has no health issues. He loves to go on hikes/walks/runs and is very athletic. However, his favorite hobby is napping with his person. He was very attached to our son and very loyal to him. Walker loves to be warm and nap on the furniture! He would do best in a home without lots of visitors.

He does well at the boarding facility, out in public and with adults that his is familiar with. He is very protective of our house/yard.

He is very loving and sweet to the people he knows and trusts!
