What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
George is our sweet 10-year-old miniature pinscher/chihuahua/toy fox terrier mix we are looking to find a loving home for. I adopted him when he was 4 months old. He was born with cataracts in both eyes and is blind but he doesn’t let that get to him. I adopted him as a college student and he’s been with me through college, then medical school, then growing our family. Unfortunately, I don’t think he has adjusted to life with babies as well as we had hoped. We have a one year-old and a newborn and around the kids he is anxious, hides in a corner of the house in his bed, just generally withdrawn and unhappy. When the kids are out of the house, he is happy and peaceful as can be. We want to find him a loving family without young kiddos where he can enjoy his senior years! He is UTD on vaccines and neutered. We can provide vet records. We are asking a small rehoming fee of 25 dollars to ensure he goes to a loving home.
