Timex is such a special boy! He is so loving and gentle even though he's been through something that left him physically scarred.❤️🩹 This sweet, friendly boy will be your best ever sidekick and forever furbaby! 🥰
Timex is a snuggly, people loving kitty! He LOVES being petted! When you give him head and neck scratchies, he headbutts you to ask for more. He tells you he's happy with wonderful low purrs and when you stop to do human stuff instead, he taps you gently with a paw to ask for more. He follows you around and brushes against your legs, circling around them in a figure eight showing his love. Timex also likes to be picked up and held, and loves to sit on laps too!
Although he is mostly quiet, he sometimes chats, and it's adorable! He has quirky, croaky little meows that we think mean, "Let's hug again" 😄🥰 ... He is a big fan of Temptations treats, and Churu lickable tubes. He has not shown much interest in toys so far, and he is not a fan of dogs. But, he is a HUGE fan of YOU! He would enjoy a quieter, calmer home: he is still a bit nervous about new sounds and places, so he may go slow when he first arrives at his new home. But, once he sees he is loved and safe, it won't take long before he is cuddling up with his family!
Although the fur on his neck will not grow back, Timex is a handsome boy with a quirky, toothy smile and often sports a tongue blep too. But his real beauty is what's inside! Because his spirit is not broken! In his presence, you feel that he is hopeful, grateful and eager to love! And, it shows in how happy he is to give and receive affection! If you're looking for a kitty who's spirit will brighten even the gloomiest days, Timex would love to meet you!
Timex has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. They don't require medication and can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (i.e. deep bite marks) and can’t be passed to people or other pets. Please do not judge them based on a blood test!
