This magnificent dog was scooped out of a high kill shelter in Kern County. He was a filthy matted mess. After a serious groom, we found ourselves with a beautiful happy boy. He must have felt awful. Colfax is 56 pounds. He is smart, loving and energetic. He would do great in a household that is active and that they will keep him socialized. He just loves life!
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
