***BONDED PAIR***

Hi, I’m PANCAKE and I am bonded with FRENCH TOAST. I am a big, oversized kitty! And while I wish I could say – I’m not fat, I’m just fluffy – weeeellllll, I’m kinda chunky and not very fluffy! That would be my sister! But I do wear my chunkiness well! Ha! I’m actually a fairly large cat - bigger than most of the other kitties that my foster mom has, so I strut my stuff and look good doing it. I have a great purrsonality, but I do take a minute to make sure it’s not a “stranger, danger” type situation.

Here’s a little more about me. I was caught as a very little kitten along with my sister, Pancake, by Purrs & Whiskers.  They took us in, made sure we were ready for a loving home and then were adopted! We were so happy! They had young children and everything was going great! Then about a year after we were adopted, they had another child and I started having some issues.  Our purrents thought I was having issues because of the new baby and didn’t take me to a vet. After a few recommendations and 2 years of pain (!) our purrents finally took me to the vet and found out that all I needed was to be on a special diet because I had stones in my bladder. The food dissolved the stones, but our purrents said we were just too much to take care of now and that they wanted to return us to P&W. So here we are, back a P&W looking for a new home that will love and care for us the way we need to be!

My sister and I are pretty much opposites – I’m a short hair and she is super fluffy; I’m little more cautious and she is super outgoing; She is out and about running the house and I am usually in a cat tree watching birds! But either way, we love each other and hope that we can find that loving home that will keep their promise and make us their furever kitties! If that sounds like you, fill out an app and let’s set up a Meet & Greet to see how it goes!

More about this rescue

Purrs & Whiskers, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving Stafford, Virginia and its surrounding areas whose mission is to employ the best practices of the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) philosophy and for those deemed adoptable, we provide temporary foster care while actively seeking a loving permanent living situation. This is accomplished by providing compassion, daily nourishment, and basic wellness care for both individual cats, as well as colonies of free-roaming, homeless cats living outdoors. When feasible, we will collaborate with local shelters in an effort to relieve over-crowding by identifying and adopting out shelter cats into appropriate, permanent living situations.
