My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Nyx! I am a member of the N squad. I am now 11 months old and looking for my forever home. I am currently in foster in a house with lots of dogs, cats, and farm animals. I have been the best boy since going to this foster home. I use the bell to let my people know when I need to potty, and I love the dog door. I am working on my recall and do really well with my foster mom(she is a doggie drill sergeant). I am getting along well with all of the animals and I love to run and play with my foster sister, the Tasmanian Devil. I am brushing up on my leash manners and foster mom says I am making great progress. My energy will match your energy. I am happy to play and be wild, and just as happy sitting with my head in your lap. I'm fluffy, so I do shed, but I loved to be brushed. I really enjoy a daily walk or two, so someone who likes to walk would be my ideal roomie! Please fill out an application and let PCHS know when you can meet me. Fun fact: my eyes are a little silly-looking, adding to my charm, and my human foster sister calls me Sir Derples

Some pets are in foster homes or may already have a meet & greet scheduled, so be sure you have looked at our adoption process, completed the adoption application and use the link on that page to request an appointment before you come to the Humane Society.

Our adoption application form is simple and there is a place for you to ask any questions you have about our pets on the form. We look forward to receiving your adoption application and setting up a meet & greet soon.
