My name is Charlie!

Charlie is an 8 year old mixed breed cat from Greenville Humane Society. She is a very skittish and aloof cat. She loves to hang out in her cat tree and observe what is going on around her. She also loves to sunbathe.
When she was adopted, we were told she had lived with both dogs and cats without issue. We have other cats and dogs, but she does not tolerate them well. We were also told she was litter box trained and while she does use the litter box, she also eliminates in multiple places around the house. We have taken her to the vet multiple times and tried different strategies with her litter boxes. With this being said, we think she would do best with an experienced cat owner and most likely as the only pet in a quiet house.
Charlie will show affection on her own terms with people she is familiar with. She loves temptations and catnip. We are looking to rehome her to someone who is willing to work with her as we do not think she would do well in a shelter environment.
